For more than 20 years, Miss Lucy and Mr. Ilvin have welcomed children into the same warm home in Richmond Hill, Queens. Husband and wife, they've run Lucy Rainbow Daycare together since the very first day — and what began as one family's calling has grown into a neighborhood institution, where the children of our very first families now bring their own little ones through our doors.
As a fully licensed family group daycare, we blend the structure of early education with the comfort only a real home can offer. Miss Lucy is DOE-certified for the 2K and 3K programs, and over the years both have grown their craft through ongoing training and resources from Queens Community House and the Cypress Hills Child Care Corporation — so your child receives care that's as informed as it is loving.
And because life doesn't stop at 3 PM, our family also provides after-school pickup and transportation for school-age children — one more way we make parents' lives easier.
